MICRONEEDLING & nanoneedling POST-CARE

Leave the treatment serum/blood on as long as possible — minimum 4 hours, up to 24 hours if you can manage. The longer it sits, the better your results. Do not rinse early unless instructed.

For the first 24 hours:

  • No sweating, no make up, sleep with a clean pillow case.

  • No hot tubs, no saunas, no steam, no gym heroics.

  • No hot showers blasting your face — keep it cool and gentle.

  • You will leave with Pink/ red skin and minimal pinpoint bleeding on the facfce

For the first 48 hours:

  • Absolutely no makeup. Don’t even look at your foundation.

  • No active ingredients (retinol, AHA, BHA, vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide).

  • No exfoliating of any kind — physical or chemical.

WHAT TO EXPECT + HOME CARE

After your treatment, your skin may feel tight, warm, textured, or slightly inflamed. This is completely normal and part of the skin’s renewal process.

You may also notice whiteheads, congestion, or texture surfacing within the next 7–14 days. This is not a breakout — it is underlying congestion and closed comedones moving up and out. Trust the process. on Day 3-5 skin could possible be flaky and dry- this is normal.

    Normal reactions may include:

    • Tightness or warmth

    • Dryness or flaking

    • Texture or whiteheads surfacing

    • Mild redness

These responses can last 2–7 days, sometimes longer depending on your skin and how fast you heal.

    HOME CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

    • Follow your Acne Edit home-care routine exactly as prescribed

    • Do not add new products, exfoliants, or actives

    • Avoid picking, squeezing, or “helping” the skin

    • Keep the skin hydrated — dryness does not mean stop your routine

    • Makeup should be kept minimal and fully non-comedogenic

    • Halederma will be your best friend use this 3-7 times a day while healing especially if you are dealing with some congestion.

You will resume your full Acne Edit routine 48 hours post-treatment, unless instructed otherwise.

Consistency through the healing phase is what creates results.
Stopping or changing products during this transition can slow progress and trigger unnecessary flare-ups.

If something feels different but still falls under the reactions listed above — it’s normal.
If something feels off — you know where to find me. 😉

Liquid Microneedling (aka Green Sea Peel)

Liquid Microneedling (aka Green Sea Peel)

Liquid Microneedling POST-CARE

After your Liquid Microneedling (AKA KRX Green Sea Peel) treatment, your skin will begin an active renewal process over the next several days as the natural bio-spicules stimulate regeneration and cell turnover.

Immediately After Treatment
• Your skin may appear red and feel warm, tight, or slightly hot
A “sand-like” or prickly sensation is normal and may last up to 3 days! This sensation is caused by the natural micro-spicules stimulating skin renewal. Try not to rub or sleep on your face during the renewal process.

First 24 Hours
• Do NOT wash your face for 24 hours
• Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area
• Avoid makeup if possible
• Mild redness, warmth, and sensitivity are completely normal

Days 2–5
• The sand-like feeling will gradually fade
• Skin may begin to feel dry and start lightly flaking or peeling
• Do NOT pick, scrub, or pull peeling skin — allow it to shed naturally

What to Expect:
• Day 1–2: redness, heat, prickly or sandy sensation
• Day 3–5: dryness and light peeling may begin
• Day 6–7: skin continues renewing as healthier skin appears

First 7 Days DO NOT
• No acidic or exfoliating skincare products
• No swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive sweating
• Keep the skin well hydrated with gentle moisturizing products
• Always apply SPF when exposed to daylight

SKINCARE RITUAL

Once a full 24 hours has passed — not sooner — you may begin your post-care routine.

CLEANSE OIL: Gently cleanse the skin using cool to lukewarm water.

you will likely feel “sand-like” or prickly feeling in the skin, do not rub the oil into the skin, gently pat or dab onto skin and splash with water.

• Avoid hot water
• Do not scrub or use washcloths
• Use your fingertips only
• Pat dry with a clean towel or disposable face cloth

Why: Hot water and friction can increase irritation and inflammation while the skin is renewing.

EPICUTIS LIPID SERUM: Apply 1 pea -size of Lipid Serum after the oil.

This product helps:

• Reduce redness and inflammation
• Support the skin barrier
• Accelerate healing during the renewal phase

MOISTURIZER: Apply HYVIA Moisturizer.

SPF (DAYTIME ONLY) Every morning apply SPF 30 or higher as the final step.

Freshly renewing skin is more sensitive to UV exposure, and sun protection is essential to prevent irritation and pigmentation.

Every skin responds slightly differently depending on the depth of treatment performed. Some clients may experience mild flaking, while deeper treatments may result in more visible peeling.

For the best results, follow all aftercare instructions and allow the skin to heal naturally without interference.

SWITCH POST-CARE

After your Circadia SWiTCH Dermal Rejuvenation treatment, your skin begins a controlled renewal process designed to stimulate natural repair and rejuvenation deep within the skin. Over the next several days, your skin will go through a gentle renewal cycle as new, healthier skin cells rise to the surface.

This treatment works with the skin’s natural energy systems rather than damaging the skin barrier, which means minimal irritation but powerful long-term rejuvenation results.

Immediately After Treatment
• Your skin may appear slightly pink or flushed and feel warm or tight
• Some areas may feel mildly sensitive or dry
• Skin may feel “coated” or slightly tacky from the treatment products

The First 24 Hours
This part is important — read it carefully.

• Do NOT wash your face for a full 24 hours
• Do NOT shower, steam, sauna, workout, or sweat excessively during this time
• Do NOT apply makeup
• Do NOT apply any skincare products unless specifically instructed
• Avoid touching or rubbing the skin

Your skin needs this time to fully absorb and activate the SWiTCH treatment.

After 24 Hours Once the full 24 hours has passed — not a minute earlier — you may gently cleanse your face with the provided Vitamin Veil . You may also shower normally at this time- nothing hot just a lukewarm shower for the next 3-5 days.

Days 2–5- During this stage your skin begins its renewal cycle.

• Skin may begin to feel dry or slightly tight
• Light flaking or mild peeling can occur in some areas
• Skin may feel rough or textured as new cells surface
• Do NOT pick, scrub, exfoliate, or pull at peeling skin

Day 3–5
• Light flaking or dryness may occur
• Skin may look slightly dull as old cells shed

Day 5–7
• Fresh, brighter, healthier skin begins to reveal itself

Rare Reactions
In rare cases, some clients may develop a temporary rash or small bumps as the skin adjusts to the stimulation of the treatment.

If this occurs:
• Do not panic — it is usually temporary
• Focus on calming, hydrating products only
• Contact the clinic if you have concerns

Your Post-Treatment Products: follow the card you were given. You were provided with professional recovery products to support healing and maximize results.

POSTCARE SKINCARE RITUAL- 24 hours post treatment

Vitamin Veil Oil: Use once daily starting 24 hours after treatment.

• Apply 2–3 drops to clean skin

• Apply to clean/ dry skin morning, mid day & evening ( whole bottle should be gone in the first 3 days)
• This supports cellular repair, healing, and regeneration
• Helps accelerate the rejuvenation process initiated by SWiTCH

Apply SPF, always!

Factor V- What is it?

Contains growth factors – these are signaling proteins that tell skin cells to repair, regenerate, and rebuild tissue faster
Speeds up wound healing – ideal after treatments like SWiTCH, microneedling, peels, or resurfacing
Reduces inflammation – helps calm redness and irritation after treatment
Supports collagen production – encourages healthier, stronger skin during the renewal phase
Improves recovery time – skin heals faster and with less risk of complications

Using factor V properly during your recovery is vital to your results

• No retinol or active acids
• No aggressive scrubs or treatments
• Avoid excessive sun exposure
• Always wear SPF daily

As your skin completes its renewal cycle, you’ll begin to notice brighter tone, smoother texture, and healthier skin overall. And remember this treatment is NOT a 1 and done 3-6 treatments minimum for wow results.

Skin Reset Guidelines

Skin Reset Guidelines 〰️

The things that are overlooked in a skin overhaul

You’ve just had your acne treatment — now let’s make sure those results actually stick.

The moment you get home ( & yes every single appointment)
Change your pillowcase (yes, immediately when you get home, we want FRESH no bacteria) and these should be changed every third day while healing.
Wash your hair or secure it off your face for the night- when possible always come to your appointments with clean hair day of.
Fresh bedding + blankets — day of treatment: bacteria is not invited to this healing party

Disposable face cloths $14— again, bacteria is not invited to this healing party; this is a game changer for an acne prone client

If you were not provided a post-care kit, that means your treatment had little to no downtime — lucky you. Still, your skin needs calm, not chaos.

Keep your Skincare routine simple and intentional: EXAMPLE ROUTINE

• Cleanse with Lipid Cleanser Circadia60- 90 seconds always

• Improve tone & texture HaleDerma this product is made specifically to help kill bacteria, speed up healing and in my opinion a must have post treatment.
• Apply Restoring Fulvic Elixir Glymed
• Follow with Lipid Serum Epicutis + some kind of treatment lotion if needed.
• Finish with your moisturizer: Comfort Cream Glymed+, Post Peel Balm Circadia or Cell Protection Balm by Glymed+

That’s it. No extras. No experimenting. This is not the time to freestyle.

For the next 3 days:
• No retinol
• No benzoyl peroxide
• No exfoliants
• No “I just wanted to try it” products

You will begin acne treatments on the third day. Or when you feel your skin is healed ( this is for nano/miconeedling specifically)

Absolutely NO piping hot water on the face
That means no hot showers hitting your face, no steam, no saunas. Lukewarm to cool only — respect the barrier.

Your treatment will continue working for the next 10–14 days, so what you do now matters. Calm skin heals better, clears faster, and rewards good behavior.

When in doubt: less is more, consistency is everything.

About Results:

Results typically begin to show within 5–14 days, but here’s the part people forget: your skin doesn’t stop healing there. It continues to repair, rebalance, and improve over the weeks that follow.

The deeper the treatment, the longer the healing timeline — and that’s not a flaw, it’s the design. Real change happens below the surface first.

This is your reminder to treat your skin with intention, not aggression. Healing > punishment.

And before you ask — no, blasting your face with benzoyl peroxide or retinols until you peel is not “helping.” I see you. Put it down. Step away. Let. It. HEAL.

Calm skin = clear skin. Always.

Why prep matters for peels (and why we don’t rush peels)

Corrective treatments — especially peels and pigmentation work — are not a one-and-done moment. Your skin needs to be prepped, conditioned, and biologically ready before we introduce deeper corrective treatments.

Healthy skin responds better. Compromised skin misbehaves.

Here’s the science part: peels work by creating controlled Trauma to stimulate cell turnover, pigment correction, and collagen signalling. But if your barrier is impaired, dehydrated, or inflamed. The peel that should have been a “controlled” response can turn chaotic — hello prolonged redness, uneven peeling, rebound pigmentation, or sensitivity that overstays its welcome.

That’s why we work strategically and progressively: Starting with a Consultation & having a skincare game plan
• Active skincare strengthens the barrier and normalizes cell turnover
• Treatments condition the skin to respond evenly
• Pigment pathways are calmed before we challenge them
• Inflammation is controlled — not triggered

This approach ensures that when we do step into a stronger peel or corrective treatment, your skin knows exactly how to respond. No funny business. Just results.

Think of it like training for a marathon — we don’t sprint on day one. We build capacity so your skin performs beautifully when it matters most.
