POSTCARE

Welcome to your Post-Treatment Survival Guide — the exact steps you need to protect your investment, support your skin, and make sure every ounce of that treatment actually works.Think of this as your “don’t mess this up” handbook.

  • POST-ACNE TREATMENT RULES ✨

No heat, workouts, saunas, or excessive sweating for 24 hours
You are photosensitive today — SPF and avoiding direct sun is non-negotiable
    • Absolutely no makeup for 24 hours
    • Once makeup is reintroduced, only use clean, non-comedogenic makeup — or better yet, stick to FLEX SPF for the next few days
This is the perfect time to wash your makeup brushes + sponges. Dirty tools = recycled bacteria and breakout city
    • Keep skin hydrated and hands off your face
    • No picking and any dry skin patches
    • Keep your hair off your face — especially while sleeping
    • Change your pillowcase tonight
    • Use a clean face towel only — preferably disposable
    • Clean your phone screen daily
    • Avoid tight hats, helmets, or anything trapping sweat/oil against the skin
    • Let your skin heal before introducing random actives or exfoliants
    • Drink your water and stop surviving off caffeine and chaos alone

Clear skin is built in the tiny habits nobody thinks matter. Around here? They matter.

    CASSANDRAS GO- TO ACNE ROUTINE
Post treatment recovery. Simple. Calm. Barrier-supportive. Acne-safe. No chaos.

Epicutis Oil Cleanser→ melts everything down without stripping your barrier into another dimension
Restoring Fulvic Elixir → antibacterial, calming, and honestly one of the hardest-working products in the lineup
Daily Skin Clarifier → keeps breakouts under control without making your skin panic
Epicutis Lipid Serum→ liquid gold for post-treatment healing and inflammation
Comfort Cream→ because your barrier just went through something
Cell Protection Balm→ just a pea sized amount MIXED into my comfort cream. This helps with extra dry, tight, spicy, or dramatic skin.

  • Leave the treatment serum/blood on as long as possible — minimum 4 hours, up to 24 hours if you can manage. The longer it sits, the better your results. Do not rinse early unless instructed.

    For the first 24 hours:

    • No sweating, no make up, sleep with a clean pillow case.

    • No hot tubs, no saunas, no steam, no gym heroics.

    • No hot showers blasting your face — keep it cool and gentle.

    • You will leave with Pink/ red skin and minimal pinpoint bleeding.

    For the first 48 hours:

    • Absolutely no makeup. Don’t even look at your foundation. wear your FLEX SPF is you must

    • No active ingredients (retinol, AHA, BHA, vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide).

    • No exfoliating of any kind — physical or chemical.

WHAT TO EXPECT + HOME CARE

After your treatment, your skin may feel tight, warm, textured, or slightly inflamed. This is completely normal and part of the skin’s renewal process.

You may also notice whiteheads, congestion, or texture surfacing within the next 7–14 days. This is not a breakout — it is underlying congestion and closed comedones moving up and out. Trust the process. on Day 3-5 skin could possible be flaky and dry- this is normal.

      Normal reactions may include:

      • Tightness or warmth

      • Dryness or flaking

      • Texture or whiteheads surfacing

      • Mild redness

These responses can last 2–7 days, sometimes longer depending on your skin and how fast you heal.

      HOME CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

      • Follow your Acne Edit home-care routine exactly as prescribed

      • Do not add new products, exfoliants, or actives

      • Avoid picking, squeezing, or “helping” the skin

      • Keep the skin hydrated — dryness does not mean stop your routine

      • Halederma will be your best friend use this 3-7 times a day while healing especially if you are dealing with some congestion.

You will resume your full Acne Edit routine 48 hours post-treatment, unless instructed otherwise.

Consistency through the healing phase is what creates results.

  • You didn’t just get a treatment — you just put your skin through a controlled correction & right now your barrier is vulnerable, active, and doing a whole lot behind the scenes. Here’s how to care for your skin:

FIRST 12 HOURS — DO NOT GET WET
    • Do NOT wash your face for 12 full hours
    • Hands off. No touching, rubbing, or picking

THE FOLLOWING DAY ( or after the 12 hours) BEGIN YOUR Postcare kit:

→ apply Oil Cleanser to dry skin massage for 30-90 seconds; splash some water on and pat dry. Always cleanse with cool water to reduce inflammation.

    → Mist Hale Derma
→ Apply Lipid Serum 2 or more times a day
→ Follow with Moisturizer Hyvia or Post Peel balm (day 3)
    → Finish with SPF (non-negotiable)

Repeat AM + PM (SPF only in the morning, obviously )

    🚫 WHAT TO AVOID FOR 3–5 DAYS🚫

    •Absolutely no workouts
    • No saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, or hot baths
    • No active skincare (retinol, acids, benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C, exfoliants)
    • No waxing, threading, or facial hair removal
    • No picking or peeling at your skin — let skin do its thing

    EXTRA TIPS AND TRICKS

HEAT + SWEAT = INFLAMMATION aka PIGMENTATION so seriously no working out! Stay cool, calm, and unbothered until skin is healed 5-7 days.

    SUN PROTECTION IS CRITICAL
    • SPF every single morning
    • Reapply if outdoors
    • Hats and shade are your new personality

This Should Go Without Saying… But We’re Saying It Anyway, while your skin is healing, this is not the time to get lazy with hygiene:

Fresh, clean towels only — every single time you touch your face, Or better yet, switch to disposable face towels (your skin will thank you)!
→Fresh Pillowcases: change every 2 days — no exceptions
Keep hair off your face and avoid anything that could transfer oil or bacteria

→And most importantly: Mist Hale Derma Spray like your life depends on it — because your results kind of do.

Final Notes: You will likely feel red, warm, tight, or slightly raw for a few days following your treatment. This is expected. Your skin has been stimulated on purpose — healing mode is activated.

You may also notice new breakouts forming in the days or weeks after your appointment. This is not the treatment “making you break out.” It is your skin pushing underlying congestion to the surface. We call this a healing response — and it’s part of the process.

Mild flaking, texture changes, and temporary sensitivity are all normal. Stay consistent with your postcare, avoid picking, and let your skin move through the renewal phase properly.

  • After your Liquid Microneedling (AKA KRX Green Sea Peel) treatment, your skin will begin an active renewal process over the next several days as the natural bio-spicules stimulate regeneration and cell turnover.

    Immediately After Treatment
    • Your skin may appear red and feel warm, tight, or slightly hot
A “sand-like” or prickly sensation is normal and may last up to 3 days! This sensation is caused by the natural micro-spicules stimulating skin renewal. Try not to rub or sleep on your face during the renewal process.

    First 24 Hours
    • Do NOT wash your face for 24 hours
    • Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area
    • Avoid makeup if possible
    • Mild redness, warmth, and sensitivity are completely normal

    Days 2–5
    • The sand-like feeling will gradually fade
    • Skin may begin to feel dry and start lightly flaking or peeling
    • Do NOT pick, scrub, or pull peeling skin — allow it to shed naturally

    What to Expect:
    • Day 1–2: redness, heat, prickly or sandy sensation
    • Day 3–5: dryness and light peeling may begin
    • Day 6–7: skin continues renewing as healthier skin appears

    First 7 Days DO NOT
    • No acidic or exfoliating skincare products
    • No swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive sweating
    • Keep the skin well hydrated with gentle moisturizing products
    • Always apply SPF when exposed to daylight

    SKINCARE RITUAL

Once a full 24 hours has passed — not sooner — you may begin your post-care routine.

CLEANSE OIL: Gently cleanse the skin using cool to lukewarm water.

you will likely feel “sand-like” or prickly feeling in the skin, do not rub the oil into the skin, gently pat or dab onto skin and splash with water.

    • Avoid hot water
    • Do not scrub or use washcloths
    • Use your fingertips only
    • Pat dry with a clean towel or disposable face cloth

Why: Hot water and friction can increase irritation and inflammation while the skin is renewing.

EPICUTIS LIPID SERUM: Apply 1 pea -size of Lipid Serum after the oil.

    This product helps:

    • Reduce redness and inflammation
    • Support the skin barrier
    • Accelerate healing during the renewal phase

    MOISTURIZER: Apply HYVIA Moisturizer.

SPF (DAYTIME ONLY) Every morning apply SPF 30 or higher as the final step.

Freshly renewing skin is more sensitive to UV exposure, and sun protection is essential to prevent irritation and pigmentation.

Every skin responds slightly differently depending on the depth of treatment performed. Some clients may experience mild flaking, while deeper treatments may result in more visible peeling.

For the best results, follow all aftercare instructions and allow the skin to heal naturally without interference.

  • After your Circadia SWiTCH Dermal Rejuvenation treatment, your skin begins a controlled renewal process designed to stimulate natural repair and rejuvenation deep within the skin. Over the next several days, your skin will go through a gentle renewal cycle as new, healthier skin cells rise to the surface.

This treatment works with the skin’s natural energy systems rather than damaging the skin barrier, which means minimal irritation but powerful long-term rejuvenation results.

    Immediately After Treatment
    • Do NOT wash your face for a full 24 hours
    • Do NOT shower, steam, sauna, workout, or sweat excessively during this time
    • Do NOT apply makeup
    • Do NOT apply any skincare products unless specifically instructed
    • Avoid touching or rubbing the skin

    • Your skin may appear slightly pink or flushed and feel warm or tight
    • Some areas may feel mildly sensitive or dry

Your skin needs this time to fully absorb and activate the SWiTCH treatment.

After 24 Hours Once the full 24 hours has passed — not a minute earlier — you may gently cleanse your face with the provided Vitamin Veil . You may also shower normally at this time- nothing hot just a lukewarm shower for the next 3-5 days.

Days 2–5- During this stage your skin begins its renewal cycle.

    • Skin may begin to feel dry or slightly tight
    • Light flaking or mild peeling can occur in some areas
    • Skin may feel rough or textured as new cells surface
    • Do NOT pick, scrub, exfoliate, or pull at peeling skin

    Day 3–5
    • Light flaking or dryness may occur
    • Skin may look slightly dull as old cells shed

    Day 5–7
    • Fresh, brighter, healthier skin begins to reveal itself

    Rare Reactions
In rare cases, some clients may develop a temporary rash or small bumps as the skin adjusts to the stimulation of the treatment.

    If this occurs:
    • Do not panic — it is usually temporary
    • Focus on calming, hydrating products only
    • Contact the clinic if you have concerns

Your Post-Treatment Products: follow the card you were given. You were provided with professional recovery products to support healing and maximize results.

POSTCARE SKINCARE RITUAL- 24 hours post treatment

Vitamin Veil Oil: Use once daily starting 24 hours after treatment.

    • Apply 2–3 drops to clean skin
    • Gently press into the skin — do not rub aggressively: This helps restore lipids and calm dryness during the renewal phase

Factor V Serum / Cream: Begin using after the first 30 minutes and will be applied 3 times a day for the first 3 days

    • Apply to clean/ dry skin morning, mid day & evening ( whole bottle should be gone in the first 3 days)
    • This supports cellular repair, healing, and regeneration
    • Helps accelerate the rejuvenation process initiated by SWiTCH

    Apply SPF, always!

    Factor V- What is it?

Contains growth factors – these are signaling proteins that tell skin cells to repair, regenerate, and rebuild tissue faster
Speeds up wound healing – ideal after treatments like SWiTCH, microneedling, peels, or resurfacing
Reduces inflammation – helps calm redness and irritation after treatment
Supports collagen production – encourages healthier, stronger skin during the renewal phase
Improves recovery time – skin heals faster and with less risk of complications

Using factor V properly during your recovery is vital to your results

General skincare Rules for the First Week
    • No exfoliating products
    • No retinol or active acids
    • No aggressive scrubs or treatments
    • Avoid excessive sun exposure
    • Always wear SPF daily

As your skin completes its renewal cycle, you’ll begin to notice brighter tone, smoother texture, and healthier skin overall. And remember this treatment is NOT a 1 and done 3-6 treatments minimum for wow results.

  • Dermaplaning + Hydrofacial leaves the skin extra smooth, fresh, and glowy — but because we’ve removed surface buildup, peach fuzz, and dead skin, your skin may feel a little more sensitive, dry, or flaky for a feYou didn’t just get a treatment — you just put your skin through a controlled correction process. Right now your barrier is vulnerable, active, and doing a whole lot behind the scenes. Treat it like expensive silk, not a science experiment. The next few days matter more than you think.w days after.

This is normal. Your skin is not “ruined.” She’s just dramatic and freshly exfoliated.

For the next 3–5 days, keep your routine simple, hydrating, and barrier-supportive.

    What to expect:
Mild dryness, tightness, flaking, or a “why does my moisturizer feel like it’s disappearing?” moment can happen after treatment. This usually settles quickly with proper hydration and no spicy skincare crimes.

    For the first 24–48 hours:
Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, scrubs, acne actives, benzoyl peroxide, strong vitamin C, and at-home peel pads. No aggressive cleansing. No picking. No testing 14 new products because TikTok said so.

    Keep it boring:
Use a gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, barrier cream/moisturizer, and SPF only. That’s the routine. That’s the plot.

    SPF is non-negotiable:
Your skin is freshly exfoliated, meaning it is more vulnerable to UV exposure. Apply SPF every morning and reapply if you’re outside. We did not do all that glow work for the sun to humble you.

    Hydration is your homework:
Dry or flaky skin after dermaplaning usually means your barrier needs more support, not more exfoliation. Reach for calming, hydrating, and lipid-supporting products. Restoring Fulvic Elixir, Lipid Serum, BetaGlucan.

    Hydrate smart — not heavy:
Dryness after treatment is a water loss + barrier function issue, not a “pile on thicker creams” situation. Overloading the skin with heavy, occlusive moisturizers can trap heat, cause congestion, and lead to breakouts — especially on acne-prone skin. Instead, focus on layering lightweight hydration (think humectants like hyaluronic acid + beta-glucan) followed by a balanced barrier cream to seal it in. Translation: we’re rebuilding hydration within the skin, not suffocating it on top. Strategic hydration > greasy chaos.

  • FIRE & ICE POST-CARE ✨

You may experience mild redness, warmth, tightness, or light flaking over the next few days — this is normal and part of the glow-up process.

    • No heat, workouts, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive sweating for 24 hours
    • You are more photosensitive after treatment — SPF is mandatory
    • Keep skin hydrated and avoid over-cleansing
    • No scrubs, exfoliants, retinols, acids for 3-5 days
    • Let any flaking shed naturally — do not pick or exfoliate it off
    • Keep hair off the face and change your pillowcase tonight
    • Use clean towels only (bonus points for disposable face towels)
    • Avoid direct sun exposure post treatment

This treatment is designed to resurface, brighten, and stimulate the skin — but the real magic happens during healing.
